LesFurets.com is the French version of Compare The Market (‘furet’ is ‘ferret’). Price comparison is in its infancy in France, and most people will just go for whatever insurer their parents use. Our task was to create a campaign that changed behaviour, encouraging people to ferret out the best deals. Herve and Francois, the two ferrets and company CEOs, were already familiar to viewers, but we created a brand new character: the greedy, fat cat insurance broker, Monsieur Blindard.
